Viridor are one of the UK's leading resource and waste management companies. They work with more than 80 local authorities and thousands of private customers to protect human health and the environment by safely, responsibly and efficiently managing society's waste and by maximising recycling and resource efficiency.

After acquiring London Recycling in 2009, Viridor engaged Galileo to create a temporary online presence designed to leverage LR’s substantial brand equity whilst beginning the gradual assimilation of the new business into the Viridor brand family. Whilst in development, Galileo were subsequently engaged to fulfil a complete online audit of Viridor’s current technical proposition, reconciling their online presence with their reputation as one of the UK’s leaders in resource and waste management as they move forward in 2010.

Beginning this year, Galileo will continue to rationalise and develop Viridor’s online properties to provide further audience and stakeholder engagement in a sector where effective marketing communications are paramount.
