Galileo goes live...

Galileo today launched their new home on the web at www.galileolondon.com, to reflect the agency’s newly revitalised branding and new home in the City. The brand development has been led by the agency’s own Matt Luxford over the last few months of 2009 following the business’s Management Buy Out (MBO) in the summer. The new presence online has been designed and develop to reflect those brand values, as well as the broader vision of the agency: clear, unpretentious, and unashamedly different.
Ed Lecky-Thompson, Managing Director (Commercial & Operations) added:
"Yes, the dreaded agency web site. It’s the absolute bottom priority when you’ve got paying clients and employees who need not only paying but also appreciate a regular fix of Guitar Hero, Singstar and their Friday Lunches from Deliverance. But sooner or later it’s got to get done and, well, here’s ours. We hope you like it.
You will note the total absence of clichéd stock photography, pretentious ‘how we work’ diagrams, site navigations arranged as a ‘floor plan’, gratuitous shots of Soho, felt-pen cartoon characters, or a blog where our Creative Director talks about what he had for lunch that day. To those hankering for the traditional agency approach, we apologise.
But for those after a refreshing approach from an integrated agency, we hope our new little home on the web reflects that.
